The Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing (PASC) Conference promotes scientific efforts to address key issues in different domains such as Climate and Atmospheric Modelling, Solid Earth Dynamics, Life Sciences across scales, Material Simulations, Plasma Physics, Astrophysics and Computer Science/Mathematics.

The PASC14 conference will be hosted at ETH Zurich in June 2-3, 2014. The conference aims at bringing together all scientists and research groups within these diverse scientific domains to foster interdisciplinary collaborations and to strengthen high-performance computing (HPC) knowledge exchange.

PASC14 invites conference participants to contribute to the meeting by presenting a talk or a poster. The contribution should describe original, interesting, and solid scientific content that is relevant to computational sciences and highperformance computing.

The conference will take place in the ETH Zurich main building at Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zurich.

The rooms HG F 26.1, HG F 26.3, HG F 26.5, HG F 33.1, HG F 33.5, and HG E 33.1 are reserved for the contributed and parallel sessions.

We would like to invite all contributors of PASC14 (talks, posters) to participate in our award for the best visualization.

An interdisciplinary committee will award the three best visualizations presented at PASC14 conference with Amazon vouchers (CHF 50.00).

The submission of talks is now closed (as of April 11, 2014). You can still submit poster abstracts using the abstract submission procedure until April 23, 2014 (at 12:00 noon). The next important dates for the PASC14 conference are:

  Acceptance notification for contributed talks and posters that have been submitted before April 11. Preliminary program with accepted talks and poster will be available on the website.
• April 23, 2014 (at 12:00 noon).
  Final deadline for submission of abstracts for contributed posters.
